The authors (Professor Yukihiro Ando and Dr.Pankaj Kumar) have described the concepts of Daily Management and its deployment process (the ‘How’ part) in ” Daily Management The TQM Way: The Key to Success in Tata Steel”, which includes the process and case studies mostly from manufacturing functions and do not cover and service functions. There is also a requirement to share successful case studies of implementing problem-solving methodology to solve a chronic/repetitive issue in the service functions.
