S Mohanakrishnan, a mechanical engineer, began his career at Sundaram-Clayton Ltd. (SCL) in 1976. With expertise in Quality Assurance, Production, TQC, Marketing, and Purchase, he led initiatives like QC Circles and implemented Cellular Manufacturing and ERP.Mohanakrishnan holds a Diploma in Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research from the Indian Statistical Institute and an MBA from the British Open University. He attended training programs at IIM and JUSE, Japan, and studied manufacturing plants worldwide. He presented case studies and training programs at national forums like CII and NIQR, retiring as Vice President (Manufacturing) at SCL in 2013.
