P.G.Sundararajan

P.G. Sundararajan is a well-known figure in the world of Tamil Letters. Born in 1910, he was educated at Madurai and Madras and has been by turns a teacher, journalist, and broadcaster retiring finally as Senior Correspondent with All India Radio. He is known as a humorous essayist, critic, and literary historian. Besides two collections of short stories and sketches in a lighter vein, he has translated several books from English to Tamil on diverse topics. Sundararajan has been immersed in the Satyamurti papers for several decades and this book is the result. He has tried to see Satyamurti’s political career from the inside, so far as is given to an outsider.
