KV Narayan (KVN to his friends) completed a B.Sc from the University of Madras and a B.L from Madras Law College. Starting from a field-level position as a Medical Representative with Roussel Pharmaceuticals, Bombay in 1964, he rose to the position of the President of Wander Pharmaceuticals in 1998, when he called it a day. In a career spanning 34 years, he held managerial and top-level marketing positions. The book is KVN’s effort to share lessons he learned in life with the younger generation planning a career in marketing management.
